REPAIR vs REPLACEMENT
Even the best TV sets have a finite lifespan, and sooner or later, yours will need to be replaced. It’s only natural that the issue of replacement comes up when your television starts having problems. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:Consider the age of your set. If it’s within a year of the end of its lifespan anyway, it’s probably time to buy a new one. Think about your set’s quality. If you’re completely happy with the sound and picture you’re getting with your current TV, then by all means, we’ll fix it. Try a cost/value analysis. The rule of thumb is that if repairs will cost more than half of what the set is worth, it’s more in your financial interest to get a new one. If your screen is busted it's time for a new TV. As the cost for screen replacement for most TV's is about the same as buying a new TV. Of course, these are general guidelines, and every family’s situation is unique.
