REPAIR vs REPLACEMENT
Even the best TV sets have a finite lifespan, and sooner or later, yours will need to be replaced. It’s only natural that the issue of replacement comes up when your television starts having problems. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:Consider the age of your set. If it’s within a year of the end of its lifespan anyway, it’s probably time to buy a new one.
Think about your set’s quality. If you’re completely happy with the sound and picture you’re getting with your current TV, then by all means, we’ll fix it.
Try a cost/value analysis. The rule of thumb is that if repairs will cost more than half of what the set is worth, it’s more in your financial interest to get a new one.
If your screen is busted it's time for a new TV. As the cost for screen replacement for most TV's is about the same as buying a new TV.
Of course, these are general guidelines, and every family’s situation is unique. We’re always happy to talk to you about your repair and replacement options to help you make a choice that will work best for your needs.
